      ISQ (Implant Stability Quotient) is a measurement scale for use with the RFA (Resonance Frequency Analysis) method of determining implant stability.
      It is presented by a resonanced frequency (kHz) on a clinically useful scale of 1 to 100 ISQ.


      Thus, osseointegration can be observed during the treatment progress to diagnose the optimum moment for the load of the implant.

      • Jak jest realizowany pomiar ISQ?
        > Pomiar ISQ realizowany jest poprzez SmatrPeg, który jest wkręcany w posadowiony implant. SmartPeg w swojej górnej części ma wbudowany magnes, który pobudzony z zewnątrz będzie działał jak kamerton. Sonda pomiarowa umieszczona w bezpośredniej bliskości SmartPeg wysyła impulsy elektromagnetyczne, które uderzają w część z magnesem, powodują powstanie wibracji całego SmartPeg (również tej części wkręconej w implant). W zależności od sztywności połączenia implant – kość wibracje SmartPeg są większe lub mniejsze. Czym większa sztywność połączenia implant-kość tym sonda odczytuje inny rodzaj wibracji i wskaźnik ISQ jest większy. Oznacza to gęstszą kość i lepsze połączenie z implantem.
